I know often side stones are ~1/3 the carat weight of the center stone, so this would straddle the look of a 3 stone and a blingy band!

Tiffany's preferred proportions for a three stone ring have, historically, been the 1:2:1 ratio. A PSer who no longer posts shared these rings many years ago. The three stone is, I believe, a 1-2-1ct ring. I think it's STUNNING.

The 1-2-1 (ish) ratio has always been my personal favorite look for three stone rings.

Whenever I go into a Tiffany's, I always try on their 3 stones and always drool over them, including the ones with the ruby centers and diamond sides which they still keep in the 1-2-1 diamond proportions (though more carat weight for the rubies b/c of their smaller spread.)
