Any option on the 1.5 carat round diamond ring?

I’m not really qualified to say but am I right in seeing that this diamond is $67k!? For an SI2 I color?

It's not a super ideal cut stone, but it IS an ideal cut, and I like it. For an SI2, the inclusions look very mild and it also seems nice and white - especially for an I color. 1.5ct is a substantial size, so I'd say...yes! A lovely choice.

Wow that is extremely clean looking for an SI2. If you are the sort to keep the stone forever and/or are good with the Blue Nile trade up, go for it!

OP
Many on this forum, not all, tend to bash BN stones, and for some good reasons. The experts on this forum (and I am not one of them), like to see ASETs of the stone, and the last I read, BN does not give that scan. There are other things they don't provide where as many of the PS vendors do provide this. Perhaps if you gave the experts on the forum (again, not me) your specs, price point, they could identify something from a PS vendor you could compare. Best of luck.

Do you mean that this diamond does not have sparkle, fire and brilliance equvalent to it's HCA0.9 score? Do you mean that if i must see the ASETs or IDEAL SCOPE of this diamond?

No, that is not what @WillyDiamond is saying.

The HCA score is used as a filtering tool. NOT as a selection tool for stones. It only compares four critical pieces of information to attempt to predict the light performance if a stone. Ideally to confirm light performance, an Idealscope and/or ASET will help out immensely.

That being said, this particular SI2 looks quite good on the BN video. Combined with what is a fairly clean plot by SI2 standards, this is almost a unicorn stone for SI2’s in my books.

This looks like a great option. There is some unknown lacking a ASET image, but the angles are solid and stone looks very pretty. There is some variation in the lowers in cutting, but I doubt you will see that IRL. Upon close inspection, the inclusions may be seen -- thought most may think they are just a dirty stone just because of the color and placement.

Thank you all for the opinion, i decided to purchase this diamond. As i think it's amazing!!! I never expect a SI2 I color can be extremely clean and white in this way.

Although i didn't see the Idealscope/ ASETs, I think it's good enough and i would do the upgrade in future!!!

Thank you all again!!!!:D
