Ta da! Thanks, Richard!

The professional portrait. Btw, it's an unusual rhodolite that the has been dubbed "Royal Rhodolite."

Ooh la la! Love that color! This is the stone that you were going to put in a delicate setting, right?

If I can find a fairly inexpensive one.

I can''t wait to see this ring - I love that stone!

I''m thinking of buying it in different shades.

It''s beautiful Harriet!!!

Thank you. Help me choose a setting?

LOVELY!

Personally I favor thin pave split shank... I have a guy in NY who does custom design and hand crafted work and he''s great. He also uses wax molds as well.

What are you thinking for setting???

Love it. What a color!

Me too, but that would far outweigh the cost of the stone. Would that be silly?

It is very beautiful and I like Nicrez''s idea.

Remember my moratorium on jewellery above $1k?

That stone is beautiful. What ideas do you have for it so far?

Either the simplest possible white-gold setting or a halo with a pave split shank (this would way exceed the cost of the stone though, as well as my current budget).

Beautiful stone, can''t wait to see the setting you pick.

Have you perused the Adwar catalogs? Those castings can save a bit of $$ on the project cost...

Very nice stone Harriet. I like the pave split shank idea.

That stone is gorgeous, Harriet!!! I love that it is so beautifully cut!

And my living vicariously through Harriet continues....

You''re embarrassing me!

Well I think the pave split shank would look beautiful with the earrings
