And now I'm considering a Pear cut.....emeralds are tricky!!

Re: And now I'm considering a Pear cut.....emeralds are tric

Lauren, I have a very fat pear and love it. My heart stopped when I saw the pear you have on hold. It truly is one of the prettiest antique pairs I have seen. They are so hard to come by. Can't wait to hear if you decide to get it. It will look so pretty in the setting you have in mind.

I hope grace gets a three d scan on it and sends it to yoram.

Hi gypsy, can you elaborate? I don't know Yoram, what will a 3D scan do? :) pardon my nievity

Re: And now I'm considering a Pear cut.....emeralds are tric

Yoram is a master diamond cutter who cut some of the AVR's which Good Old Gold sell and not forgetting the Octavian cuts which he cut and helped KarlK a bit to convert from his designs. Gypsy means a 3d scan so that all the angles of the diamond are known for Yoram to cut a few new diamonds which look the same. Bit like a mould.

Now begins the process of working out import duty taxes etc

Victor has quoted me and so has Erika (winters) - is there anyone else who I should get a quote from who would work magic with the setting?
