I had an order in with Allurez for some earring jackets at Allurez back in January ( they charged my Credit Card 2K) and it was taking way longer than they had said it would take so I canceled the order in Feb- and said I would be credited in 5-7 days and now I cant get ahold of anyone. I haven't gotten my credit. I know that NYC is pretty much on lock down- any suggestions?

Call your credit card company if repeated attempts to reach them have failed. Good luck. Keep us posted.

I’ve dealt with them before. I ordered an item and then cancelled pretty quickly because they would not send photos of the yellow diamonds so I could see the actual color (although at first I was told I’d get photos). It was a terrible experience. I eventually got my money back and left them a bad review but they’ve tried to get my reviews down by saying I named a specific employee, etc.

Yes, the day after the 7 days would have been good to call your credit card company. They can usually resolve it.

Not always though. I bought something expensive (not jewelry) and it got ruined after 1 normal use. My cc didn't do anything bec the company has a no return policy. So definitely call your cc, but don't count on it.

Contact your CC company and get a refund. Communication isn’t on lockdown so that’s no excuse. Good luck!

Wow.. I just looked at their BBB ratings and it seems that they do this all the time :(

This company is horrible! they are fighting my CC company what a bunch of scammers

But she didn't actually get any product. They have no right to her money, because there was no sale. Call your CC company, asap! Good luck.

OMG- I have been on hold for over an hour and half with my CC exhausting!!!! with the COVID 19 thing I guess they are overloaded with travel disputes... any hoo!!! and now we wait.. I will see what happens with the CC investigation

Oof yeah I read too fast.
Hope they help!

Update- My CC company ruled in my favor and they are crediting my account :)- its a shame that this company couldn't just do the right thing from the start. Reputation is everything in the jewelry biz - is it not????

Yay! Yes it was unfortunate it had to go down this way but you had little choice. If you waited much longer you’d be out of luck. Glad it’s resolved in your favor. As it should be of course.

I am so happy this worked out for you. Sorry it had to come to this. Not pleasant.
