Advise with setting for diamond solitaire pendant setting

Hi,

I bought my wife a beautiful 1.5 ct round diamond.
I'm going to set it as a pendant necklace for our anniversary.

My question is what type of setting you'd recommend?
The main object is the stone so I want a small setting that lets the stone shine and do the talking.

I saw this one which looks nice but open for other suggestions.

Will she possibly want to switch up styles and length of chains? If so, you might want to consider a style where the chain threads through instead of being attached.

No, it’s attached to those mouse ears.
