Advice on jewellers in Perth, WA from PS Australians :)

Hi everyone

I'm new to the community and chanced upon it when I was looking around for jewellers in Perth, WA that may be able to customise a wedding ring.

My fiance is based in Perth and for my wedding ring, instead of a band, I requested for a Princess cut solitaire instead. Since I'd like to get a diamond that's about 1 carat and of good cut and colour, I think going to an independent jeweller might be better?

I wonder if anyone could recommend me some jewellers that my fiance could start looking at? Unfortunately, I am not in Perth at the moment so I can't meet with the jewellers but I'd love to be involved in my wedding ring 'building' process as far as possible.

Hi there - hello fellow Perth person!!

Jorgio diamonds are a good place to start. Some fellow PS members have bought from there. They do provide Idealscope (IS) and/ or ASET images. With princess cut (a fancy cut diamond) it is better to have an ASET image. ASET will tell you about the performance of the diamond. IS will tell you about the brightness if the diamond.

Check the pricing of the diamonds here in Perth vs online in the USA. Depending on the size, it may be better to buy online and ship it back to Perth, pay the GSt and still come our cheaper than Perth/ Aussie prices.

I think there is another thread/ chat msg with similar questioning in the last few days. In the search function in the upper right search for WA JEwellers or Perth JEwellers and it may show that thread. I did post a question onsetting a diamond that I have - ignore that one obviously.

I am on my phone so I can't link these threads for you.

Hopefully more experienced Perth PS'ers than me, will see this chat and post more than what I have.
