Hi all,

Well after being shafted and having my stone sold out form under me by another vendor, I''ve found a second stone I''d love your opinions on please.

What''s up with these pictures, they look very grainy and computerised??

These are Diam Calc...not pictures. Diam Calc is not a substitute for real pictures.

thought they looked a bit odd....
What about the overall specs??
I may not be able to get the real images until the stone is called in.

They are computer generated.
Need to know what they used as input data for the pictures.
Im this thread the vendor just input the numbers manually and it did not come close to representing the real stone.

If sarin data was used its a little closer but not 100%
Get and post the sarin file if that was what was used.

Spoke to the vendor, figures were done with Sarin data.
I''ve put a "hold" on the stone and will see it up close and personal in about 10 days.
Please tell me I haven''t made a huge mistake

Get and post the .srn file Please.
If they were entered by hand from sarin data that is different than using a .srn file.
If they don't have and didn't have a .srn file then it is bad news.

There are Sarin-data and Sarin-data.

These pictures were generated by putting the average angles into Diamcalc. Many people, including professionals, think that these averages are indeed the full Sarin-report.

However, a full 3D-Scan is actually the complete information coming out of a Sarin-machine. It is not practical to list all these measurements in a chart, but that information exists. And if this full 3D-scan (the srn.file) is entered into Diamcalc, the resulting images will be completely different.

Live long,
