I really need advice on my off-center pendant. My goal was to create a modern design where the pendant wasn’t set center. And sort of blended with the chain. But the way the jeweller set it looks off to me - with both rings on one side of the pendant. I think I’d prefer if the chain connected to the end of the pendant so that it flowed more naturally with the chain.

Does that make sense? Not sure if I’m overthinking or asking for something impossible.

I think you're right. It'll look more intentional the way you're proposing, rather than like a pendant that has just drifted out of place.

Yup, I agree with @distracts. I think it will look more natural in the way you envisioned it. Right now it's pretty but does look like it was meant to be in the middle but got shifted out of place.

I think you are right, but if it is centered on the chain it will easily flip over and everyone will be seeing the back-side of the diamond set ornaments. That won't be ideal, either. I can't really suggest a perfect way to make the two segments look like they are off-set from center-bottom intentionally. You might consider adding an additional heavy element to the chain at the center-bottom so that the present ornaments become off-set with an obvious intent to be up on the one side and not just in the wrong place. Maybe they need a couple lighting bolts added below them to force them to stay facing up and to add some really noticeable design element that attracts the eye and gives them a purpose.

Please forgive my crude Photoshop work, but it sort of demonstrates adding a lighting bolt. A good
jeweler could do far better with lots of further variation. RT1.jpg

Thank you, everyone! I think I’m going to get it centered on the chain as a solution.
