Hi all,

I think I’ve found the diamond I want. Here are the spec. Anything I should be worried about?

Many thanks in advance =)2

How are you planning on setting it? I only ask because a thin girdle may need some protection. Also is the diamond eye clean from 8 inches? Please ask the vendor about if the diamond is eye clean.

It’s being bezel set. Theyre saying that it’s eye-clean =)2

Does it get Ideal for light return? AGS000?

It doesn’t have a Sarin report or light return imaging but that’s ^^ what it says on the AGS report.

Nice stone. It should be bright and sparkly!

An ASETscope image would help confirm cutting accuracy, but getting AGS000 should mean it's near the top of the tree :)

1.8% as the lower end of the girdle thickness is not a durability issue. At all. If you look at any SuperIdeal diamond, they all have thin to medium or thin to slightly thick girdles. That's how you keep the depth to a reasonable level (below 62%). Go on the WF website and look at the Sarin report for pretty much any diamond listed. They'll all have min girdle thicknesses below 2%, with some being as low as 1.3% or 1.4%.

Girdle thickness isn't really a durability issue until you get to a min girdle thickness below 1% (aka very thin or extremely thin girdles), especially if combined with shallow crown angles/depths.

To the OP, the diamond looks nice from the photo. :) Is there an IdealScope available for it? Also, what is the price you're paying?

Theres no ideal scope image available and I paid $1270 all up.
