A very rounded Sunday.
@Lexililac: amazing that you cut that sapphire yourself. You did such a great job. And that star ruby is so vibrant and saturated. And wow... that star sapphire with ruby center... such a great find.

@Gloria27 : what a sunny Chrysoberyl indeed! I love that colour. Will you set it or collect it?

@ItsMainelyYou : thanks for sharing your red spinels. Very beautiful and saturated.

@dk168 : very impressed by your Jeff White collection with rounds. That Danburite! Also a huge fan of you rubellite, zircon, sapphire and topaz. Would love to see a group pic of your complete jewelry and stones collection. Any plans for a 2021 thread? Does the Mali garnet from JD resemble the vendor pic? Beautiful colour!

First up are tsavorite, spessartite and purple garnets.

And more garnets, a pyrope, mahenge, rhodolite and spess .

Two sapphires and a ruby.

Lastly, a tourmaline, electric blue topaz, peridot, spinel and amethyst.

I have a lot of round shaped stones, two of my favourites are a very candy like bright vivid red (neon in the sun) Mahenge Spinel cab, and really beautiful round blue Sri Lanka Sapphire.... I also took a pic of some Mahenge Garnets that are round that I had out quickly too;

Square cushion ruby in a 18kt. yellow gold ring. One of the very very few of my gems witch is set as Im a collector and not much in jewellery.

pink sapphire with a blue color zoning line accross the stone. Wasnt successful to catch the straight blue line. The camera makes it blurry and washes it into the pink. With better light in Spring I will try it again to do some better pics of that one.

Here are my cushions that are set. An Umbalite Garnet, Purple Garnet (kite set), Blue-Green Afghan Tourmaline (formerly owned by sparkiesluver if it looks familiar ), Seafoam Afghan Tourmaline and an unheated Violetish-Blue Sapphire.

Adding a pic indoors, morning natural light only, back against window as the colors look so unreal in the earlier pic taken under the lamp at night. Lighting is a bit dim but looks more real? Earlier pic is like those unrealistic IG pics lol. Still can’t get all the stones aligned to the same direction.
