We actually got some sun today so I could take a few decent outdoor pics! The hideously weedy bit in the middle of the driveway will eventually be drought resistant native plants and big river pebbles. One day!

I LOVE everyone''s houses. Houses are my second love, after diamonds. Oh oh, correction, third love, after hubby (first love) and diamonds (second love). Phew, almost got myself in trouble there!

Our home in Singapore is 4,100 sq ft land and the built-up is 3,500 sq ft, 5 bedrooms and another one for staff/ housekeeper, with a swimming pool and a kitchen big enough to cater for 50 people (we''ve actually had a part for about 40-45 people so I know we''re capable of doing that kind of number).

I used to think that with what we''ve paid, we could get hundreds if not thousands of acres elsewhere, say in Queensland in Oz, but now that we no longer live in SG, I miss our home so much and wouldn''t want to swap it for anywhere else!!

I''ll see if I can post some photos for you. Am having some problem posting pics but will try. If not, will post some time in the future, soon.

There''s a bathroom out there and it''s fully insulated... snuggy! There''s a car hoist in the centre (yeah, who doesn''t need a hoist in their garage?

) that I keep telling DH to suspend a hammock from, and he can live out there permanently and just order pizza!

He was not amused.

OK, I am overexcited since we just finished our backyard, so I have a few pics to share.

The house's MySpace angle. It's a long skinny house with a rear entry garage. We're in zero lot line homes and I love how low maintenance the yard is!

It's ~2,225 sq. ft, 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, with an office, loft, and 2.5 car garage.

Our Master Bath. One of our main criteria was an actual water closet. All of our previous "water closets" had saloon doors (Texans, what can you say!?), so I was really excited to see a REAL door in the model of our house.
