Hi There Pricescope,I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for houses. With the economy the way it is today, those of us who can afford our house take extra pride in having our own homes. So please post pictures of your house. My husband and I are closing on this house in 1 month! I cant wait, its small but perfect for just the two of us!

PS: The current furniture in the house does not do it justice!!

I''ll have to track down some pictures of our new house (closed in November) to post.

Here is a view of the lot. This was a very big selling point for us. Large lots are hard to come by these days in Austin.

We've made quite a few changes in the past few months since these photos were taken (we closed and moved in the week before Thanksgiving), but you can get the general idea of the layout.

I''ll play. You have to see the before to appreciate the after.

We sold our house last summer and went into temp housing for a few months. We found a steal of a deal on a house in foreclosure that just happened to be 15 houses down the street from the one we sold. So back into the neighborhood we went. We love the house and the neighborhood.

Master Bathroom Before- this ended up being completely gutted due to a bad do-it-yourself remodel. I hate, hate, hated all that slick, shiny tile. With a passion. Did I mention I hated the bathroom?

Master Bathroom After. I think this is my favorite room. Seriously. We did 2" hex floor tile, white subway tile in the shower and wainscot on the walls. It''s much more appropriate for the age of our home now (1940).
