Did you receive a video? That should help determine if it’s a reflection or something else.

I dont see
them in the CADs unless its just some kind of reflection off the donuts.

Good Morning PSers!

I received pics of my completed ring while on my trip. Unfortunately, I didn't get that "Oh my gosh, it's gorgeous!", feeling
from the pics . I can see one thing that I have questions on, but not sure if that's the only issue or if there is anything else
I need to ask about. Could you guys take a look and let me know if you see anything?



As a reminder, here is the CAD.


So, what do you think these lines are down between the donuts? They mess with the elegant curves of the prongs, IMO. I dont see
them in the CADs unless its just some kind of reflection off the donuts.

I have been wondering about your new ring!
I don’t know why those little struts are there that you have highlighted - maybe for structural support? I would imagine in real life viewing they are not as pronounced. What is the ring missing that doesn’t leave you with the warm fuzzy feeling? Overall I think it looks great!!

Looks perfect and I guarantee those are just reflections!

EDIT I see now more clearly what you are asking… yes there are apparently tiny bumps on the donut below the struts. I doubt you will see them irl. The lighting is causing shadows. I still think it looks great.

Double EDIT lol… still could just be reflections…

Its just those little straight up and down "structs" in the donut area. I am going to ask DK for a video and see if something is going on in that area. (no, I didnt get a video @Rfisher )

Ok, we will wait to hear from you. I truly doubt they will be that visible but now is the time to address it. Can’t wait for you to have your new ring!

Even those videos always show weird random reflections. You could send them your marked photo and inquire!

I think it looks like gaps between the donuts where there are none in the CAD? A picture of the underside of the donuts would help.

I pointed it out to DK, who said it was a reflection. Their photographer is coming in today and will make
a video for me. Fingers crossed it is just a reflection, not a gap or something else! Thanks, everyone, for
