I''d do a zircon personally. Lots of nice colors, not to expensive, and they have nice sparkle.

I already have a 2ct (approximate) concave cut blue zircon from R. Homer that I haven''t mounted because I don''t want to damage it. I hear that Zircon is a soft stone that isn''t suitable for rings. Is Spessartite a better ring stone?

Spessartite is probably a better ring stone but zircon can be used in rings. It would just need a fairly protective setting. I have a zircon ring that''s bezel set and it seems to be holding up well. I wear it fairly frequently, at least once or twice a week.
