26th Anniversary Upgrade

Hi All!

I started looking for my 25th Anniversary upgrade stone some time around year 24 1/2. Unfortunately, due to my inability to make snap decisions,
I missed out on several stones that would have been excellent choices. Hence, this has turned into my 26th Anniversary upgrade instead of the
typical 25th! Anyway, here she is!



A really bad video because my phone stinks...but, I think you can see how sparkly it is!

Thread '3 stone CAD help'

Hi Fellow PSers

Looking for a few eyes/input on my 3 stone CAD from DK. Anything out of order? The Round side stone is showing 1.95mm but
it should be 4.95 mm (which I think is correct in the drawing part of the CAD).

Here is the CAD from DK...


My current change is to
- move the 2 prongs on the side stone(s) to be inside of the 2 prongs of the Center stone. I don't want to see prongs if I don't have to.

Now, the side stone dilemma...
I'm not sure I like how they are set into the shank. I'm a little limited to what I can do because the setting is 2 tone...

Well, it was worth the wait to get the diamonds and ring just right! It looks beautiful and I am very happy for you. Love the plain gold band paired with it - did DK make that to match? He really did a great job on your new ring!

Happy anniversary and what a way to celebrate! Belated or not it was worth the wait. I look at so many long and loving relationships on PS and that's something I would strive towards! Jewels are just bonuses! But in saying that I love your three stone and I will have to add that to my list of projects for years ahead.

Thank you @MissGotRocks ! No, DK did not make the band. I got it from the Goodwill site many years ago. Does match pretty well, though!

I did a lot of research on proportions thanks to all the pics we have on SMTB. I even created a spreadsheet with different
people's 3 stone rings and their ratios. I have to say that already owning the .46 J/Si1 made it pretty easy to go with the 64%
ratio.

I am enjoying it @Dreamer_D ! It's so odd that before receiving it, I thought I would go through the "It's huge" phase, but I
don't feel that way at all! It just seems like the perfect size for me and my stage in life.

Happy to encourage you to go for bigger sides! I do love your setting though, and hope that it can be reworked with bigger sides!
