Thank you all for your compliments and congratulations, we couldn't be happier.

I will try and post more pictures when we get some time.

Sixbillionstars - I didn't request anything specific so I believe this is ERD's standard rose gold. From talking with Chris, it doesn't sound like they get many requests for it. The color is amazing in person.

Laila619- We haven't given much thought to wedding bands yet (tentatively planning for Fall 2014 wedding) but I think she is interested in a plain rose gold band to keep the focus on the center stone.

its so pretty on its own that Id personally love to wear it solo without another band, i know some wear their bands on their right. But whatever you choose to do should be tasteful judging from your ring!

I wanted to know though, how pink that setting turned out. My gf really likes rose gold to look more pink/rosey than yellow. The images you sent look almost like yellow gold. Is that just the camera? I'm debating between 14k and 18k. I'd prefer 18k because of higher gold content but want to be sure it's still very noticeably rose colored. Any suggestions?

If she likes the pink look, you're better off with 14k. It has more copper content and therefore more pink. I've heard 18k is more like a peachy/apricot colour due to the higher gold content. 14k will also be more stable/less brittle.

I love the ring. Congratulations! I am considering rose gold as well. Is it an old miner(cushion) cushion cut diamond and did you purchase it in ERD as well as the setting? Does rose gold make diamond look more yellow or to the contrary, makes it more white?
