I love the setting Soxfan - the low profile is nice. You should keep this one permanent and not change. If I were to go solitaire, this would be a setting to consider. Congratulations on your beautiful ring - enjoy it in good health for many years.!

Well done again, Soxfan . There is always a place beautiful solitaire. Acacia was one of settings Erica offered to me when purchased my oec. It is beautiful, but my stone has ex.thin girdle so I passed it and picked Zoe instead, which covers more than four prongs. Enjoy Your new beauty.

I LOVE the zoe. Was torn between that and the Jovyn, but I am going with the Jovyn with tab prongs.

Yes, this was always going to be a temp setting. My stone isn't perfectly round and a 4 prong doesn't disguise that. I also wanted the added security of a 6 or 8 prong or bezel.

Me too! I think the pinched shoulders will make the stone pop more! And having a plain solitaire will offer so much more opportunity to pair with eternity bands!

This is funny because I am trying to get my AVR out of a Tiffany style solitaire because I feel it doesn't compliment the antique style of the stone and you are changing out of an antique one to a modern setting! Maybe I should just not change it!

Well, I have two other old cuts that are in antique-inspired settings, so I wanted this one to be different. BUT Caysie proposed something very unique (but still a solitaire) and we are going to go with it. I'll post pics once it's done!
