1st post - is there an "advanced search" function here?

Hi all! I've been lurking on this site for a few weeks now since I need to purchase an engagement ring (1.00-1.25 Princess) before December and this seems to be the best place around to get knowledgeable opinions and information. At some point in the next 30-60 days I expect to put up a "Which of these stones is better?" topic once I can finalize my budget (I'm on 100% commission at my job so I want to wait until the last minute to save up as much as I can for the ring), but I don't want to ask the same old newbie questions and annoy the regulars.

That said, the only search tool I've found is the Google search button, which doesn't let me sort topics by date or seemingly go past 10 pages of results. When I type in +princess +2013 (without using quotes), I get a "no results" message. Am I doing something wrong?

This thread was a lot people picking good princess stones for someone. The links to the stones might still be good, so you can see what PS-ers thought was good. I am not a princess type, lol.

Thanks for the info! Personally, I'd prefer a Round, but it's not going on my finger. We're engaged already, and since the ring isn't a surprise, I asked her to pick out the shape.
