Hey all,
Been reading these pages for awhile and am in the market to buy a ring for the engagement. I feel I've done my research and just want to ask some intelligent questions and see if I'm missing anything.
Here is the data:
Measurements: 7.06 - 7.12 x 4.27 mm
Carat Weight: 1.30 carat
Color Grade: I
Clarity: VS1
Cut Grade: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: Very Strong Blue (hoping to help with the I color)
Depth: 60.2%
Table: 57%
Crown: 33.8 degrees
Pavillion: 40.8 degrees
Cutlet: none
HCA: 0.8
I asked the gemotologist about the fluorescence and he said, "Due to strong fluorescence, the diamond appears little bluish in color." Also asked about the 'milkiness' of the diamond but didn't mention anything about it. Any thoughts on this, I feel like this is a really good price and don't want it to be 'too good to be true'.
Does the 'bluish color' worry anyone because it seems unlikely that it is that blue.
