Hello, I am looking for very good quality 0.25 ctw earrings on 4 prong, white gold. Is there a vendor known best for this preset for its cut and price?

With WF you’re paying a premium for superlative light return.

In general - these are small stones, and the differences you might note between good, better, and best are commensurately trivialized. The keyword there is the ‘you’ in “you might note” - for some people there’s no visible difference, for others it’s appreciable.

I don’t have any diamonds from Costco, but I do have a couple of old Macy’s and Nordstrom trinkets and my WF melee blow them away. No contest. From what I hear Costco’s diamonds are MUCH better than your typical big box store goods though.

That’s a long-winded way to say “it probably doesn’t matter all that much, but for many PSers the guarantee of melee manufactured for optimal light return is worth the premium”.

The Costco pair that you posted have screwbacks. If that’s something you have an opinion on (some women do).

Yessie gave you some great advice, usually WF has some nice presets but they are not eligible for upgrades if you choose to go that route in future. They do use very well cut stones.

Are you looking for small studs because of preference or budget?

Not knowing your budget, I found a few sets on Blue Nile. These all seem to be eye clean but you would want to confirm this with them. Blue Nile has settings (basket & martini) for $160 in 14K. These would be upgradable in future.
E's

Or this set..a bit more $$, Again... E's
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10676626 $379
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10676625 $381

G's
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD11160553 $365
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10694244 $395

H's
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10779420 $374
https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10779422 $377

If you don't go the pre set route, or buy the stones from Costco, & want a bit of a larger stone & your budget will allow, go for the 1st set of E's from BN.
$865.

Others will chime in.

Good luck
:-)

Thank you for your feedbacks. I was originally sold on the 0.25 ctw while shopping at costco. I had held their earring (costco's) on my wifes ear and the size looked petite and perfect and I was sold on the 324.99 price tag as well. I like the size for its daintiness if that's a word and the sparkle was big and great I thought. I also like the screwbacks. If one from whiteflash has better sparkle and provide bigger flashes though being 0.25 ctw, I may be willing to pay their $450 price tag but that is more than what I wanted to spend. I wonder if whiteflash have any promo for first time buyers from their site or anything like that. Thank you guys for chiming in 8-)

Thank you Yssie and heartnurse, I will likely pull the trigger from Whiteflash, Costco, or a jeweler I know in Downtown LA depending on how I feel each is more worth it for the price. I will keep you guys posted if I end up buying one soon! Thank you!

Hi Junc80. You're welcome. I would go with Whiteflash myself if I were to choose between either Costco or WF. I know some have had luck on Costco but I like to buy my gems from an actual jewelry store where you will get personalized service. I know if you register with WF, new customers get $25 off their purchase. I'm not sure if there is a min. $$ purchase or not. They have a live chat feature, you can check with them. All the best. :))
