We all love to see jewels on the red carpet at major events like the Oscars and Golden Globes, but it’s especially fun to spot stunning fine jewelry in film and television. Jewelry artist Beth Farber’s gorgeous creation, the Cleo Collar, was recently featured on Fox’s Gotham. And though we seldom get detailed information on jewelry we see in film and TV, Farber’s necklace stole the show and has been receiving much attention.

The 15-inch collar channels ancient opulence à la Cleopatra with boulder opals, black-spinel beads, and emeralds. The necklace was hand-woven by the designer.

The necklace debuted on Gotham‘s “Under the Knife” episode last Monday, April 20, and was worn by actress Erin Richards who plays Barbara Kean on the show.
