The Sunset Boulevard star’s ring will be auctioned at Christie’s Paris
Auction news abounds this week, as Christie’s has announced the sale of Gloria Swanson’s 5.1 carat rectangular cut diamond ring. The actress was known for her love of luxury, which included a vast collection of jewels. The auction will be held at Christie’s Paris on May 23.

Swanson’s 5.1 carat rectangular cut diamond ring is expected to sell for $97,000-$140,000.
Gloria Swanson purchased the two diamond and rock crystal bangle bracelets (shown above) from Cartier in 1930, which she wore in the film, Sunset Boulevard. Rapaport has reported her annual jewelry budget was once a whopping $500,000.
