Pull the camera back a bit Rhino? - or put a white disc on the lens to get the darkness down a bit?
Amazing how the fire goes when there is no back light!
That is a trick that people are doing (often without knowing it).

Here is something interesting - no back light so the fire is lost, and really lousy cuts - but interesting huh?

I think you are right, Mara. That pic did look oh so familiar!

If that's the case, then Kudos for that pic go to Brian Gavin of White Flash. Brian was such a dear to take those really great shots for me prior to shipment.
