Ellen Barkin has amazing taste. Personally, I don''t like pears but this ring is gorgeous! I love the way JAR designed a danity, elegant setting to hold such a large stone.

I saw this ring and became ill ...a 22.76 pear diamond owned by Ellen Barkin

Think that was one of the pieces she put up for auction after her breakup with Revlon-honcho Ron Pearlman. Just think, it coulda been yours -- if the price was right!

ETA: Just read what the price was .. 1.8 million. Christie''s auction. She got 20 million+ for the jewelry she collected in just 6 years of marriage. Not a bad return ...

Okay, how did this 22 carater beauty only estimate at going for 1.2 million, but Victoria Beckham''s "smaller" 17 carater is 7 million? I think VB got ripped off.

She needs to be a better bargain hunter.

Another (albeit) small view of Liv Tyler''s ring. It looks like a three stone RB in either WG or platinum. She wore a plain band with it, but it looks like eventually she stopped wearing the ering in general in favor of the band by itself.

Simple and classy-not so big it''s blinding, but still with a little "oomph."
