Your Latest Jewelry Purchases/Things You're Considering....

So I saw a version of this ring on Leslie’s instagram and fortunately for me it’s made by a London based designer.

So I have this one on its way to me. Totally not my usual more classic style but I love it for its collet and the deep red flashes - let’s see if I still do in real life!

This is amazing!

It’s here and I’m so happy with the way this reset came out! And now that it’s a pinky ring, I can wear it daily. :)

HOLY SMOKES look at that chunky cupcake! Who did the setting? It's like buttah

Wow! What a gorgeous, cupcake/pinky ring! Looks great with your other beautiful rings!

Trying this sapphire from TRR; 2.65cts, unheated from Sri Lanka with GIA cert. It looks a lot lighter in the GIA photo so we'll see where it lands in real life.

Can't wait to see this! Hope it is everything and more in person!

The next CS to set on my list (after setting the pink Sapphire) is my Asscher cut blue Zircon from Jeff W.

The stone itself, glamour shot from Jeff, 7.04ct, 9.25 x 9.25mm:

I call it my windmill, and am still deciding which ring design to use, inspiration ring designs as following:

173ad-vintage-aquamarine-and-diamond-cluster-ring-367x11-500h-650.jpg3818aq-art-deco-aquamarine-cluster-ring-yellow-gold-and-platinum-2201x8-560h-650.jpg
Most likely to be the top one with more curves, with no millgrain.

DK :))

I love both of them but I agree, the top one because it showcases that beautiful blue zircon more. It needs to be the star of the show!

This came super fast! In person, it’s a beautiful true blue without any gray or blacking out. There is some color zoning but I don’t think it’s noticeable unless you’re looking for it up close. No window. Looks like a small inclusion at 3o’clock. I thought I was going to hate the setting but it’s actually really nice and not chunky at all in person. Sapphire experts, what say you?

(Please excuse my terrible nails)
Daylight (overcast today so not a ton of light out.

That did come quick! It looks pretty lovely to me! It is hard to tell but it looks like the color hue of a tanzanite which is quite nice if you like hue!

I have approved the CAD for my Aquamarine drops that I bought from Ivy and Rose, for them to be set as interchangeable articulated drops for my tiny earth-mined diamond huggies.

This is the first CAD that I rejected as my design brief specified for the main stone to be thinly wrapped around the girdle for a more delicate look:

This is the updated version that I approved:

And here is a pic of the design inspiration - I requested for the space between the main stone and the diamond halo to be reduced:

Definitely love the second version!

Thank you @cushioncutnut - I'm a fan of a lighter body versus a royal sapphire.

Unfortunately, I found a chip on the girdle this morning (and it's actually visible in the stock photo under the top left prong now that I'm looking for it). I think it could likely be covered with a tab style prong but it's no longer mind clean, so back it will go :wall:

I may have impulsively bought this platinum, diamond, and sapphire RHR while “just looking” at an estate jewelry store. Was thinking it’d make a good gift for my sister when I see her on Sunday. Still trying to decide if it’s too gaudy for her very simple taste or not.

From my husband… a polki / uncut diamonds necklace set in 22k gold. Will definitely be kept aside to wear for an occasion but I truly appreciate it =)2 4F68E198-402E-4901-848D-49A28435E9B8.jpeg
The back is so neat too/ this piece of jewelry is handmade from India and therefore there are some imperfections but I like that about it

Beautiful! Definitely wear it and not just for special occasions!

I have a pair of 36 point each E color ACA's from almost 20 years ago, so old that the AGS cert doesn't have any branding. I also have a pair of 59/60 point D color CBI's that I've had a dozen years. All were set into earrings that just never got worn, so yesterday I had a local jeweler pull the stones for me. I have a 93 point D out for delivery today. If that passes muster, it'll be the middle stone of a 5 stone band I'm having made.

My late husband had a big part in the existence of this project that I'm not going to go into detail about on PS, except to say that this is going to be special to me beyond it's beauty. It's not going to be worn on the finger with my wedding ring, in fact I'm having it sized for my middle finger. I may also wear it on my right hand sometimes.

Peridot and diamond cluster meant to arrive last Friday. UPS knocked on the door rather than ringing our (very loud) doorbell, and I didn't hear it. :(2 Had it redirected to the nearest UPS depot...only to find that their customer service / pick up office is only open Monday to Friday (8.30am to noon - can you believe that??!!) :x2

Will go tomorrow to get it.

@EllenS1 -

Swear to goodness, every time I turn around, you've got some gorgeous new piece! Your collection is just outstanding in its individuality and beauty! Congratulations on this new, beautiful jewel!

I purchased this enhancer from Blue Nile for my oval solitaire. It gives me the look of wearing two bands without the spinning and becoming lopsided. Plus it’s super sparkly!

Ugh I would not describe UPS customer service as service.
