I think it's nice to have something loving and sentimental engraved inside a ring.

Once a day (we try not to forget) we ask each other, " Did I tell you I love you ?" The other answers. It can be any time throughout the day , but the idea is not to forget.
If it's been a tough stretch sometimes we'll say, "Did I tell you I love you today ?" But, so far, we've had thousands of days where we ask and answer each other.

So, I had this question engraved in DH's wedding band. ( I figure if I forget to ask....I'm still covered. The question is inside the ring. )

I'd just think about things that are meaningful for the two of you, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it or if anyone else even understands it or "gets" it. Just so long as when *she* looks at it, or both of you, if you have something also, it brings a smile to her face.
