No. I'm wearing five figures on that finger, but in more than one ring. And, no, even all of them are not more than my brand new car. Even so, I think my family and friends would be shocked if they knew the full price of my rings . . . and I'm still a relative lightweight by PS standards.

Hahahaha! NO! Sadly, my Jeep cost me (before interest) $10k, and my ring...I have No IDEA! It's a 1.3 oval, E color, etc. It was a total surprise, and I really have no idea how much SO paid for it. He keeps the insurance separate and that is fine with me. All I know is that my ring must have been less than 10k!

Yup. My ring is worth more than both of our cars individually, but that's because hubby drives a '97 Mustang and I drive an '05 Cobalt.

Purchase price falls just below the KBB of my car, though. (I used the Private Party value for a Good condition vehicle.)

No, not yet. That finger is worth about 15,000 (when purchased). I plan on upgrading rings and we trade cars in every 3 years so I hope one day they will be about equal! I'm happy with the cars we drive. Not planning on upgrading those but we will keep trading in for 'new'.

My e-ring is definitely worth more than my car - at least 5x more. It's okay with me though, because as I've been discussing in one of my threads, I'm actually not an experienced driver, and I'm just now starting to really drive on a regular basis. I'm already concerned about my inexperience, but I'm sure that I would be much more worried if my car was new!

My e-ring is actually worth a lot more than my fiance's car, too - but he's not really a car person. The car that he owns was his aunt's before it was his, and he kind of has an attachment to it. We will probably actually have to look into getting him a new one in the next six months or so though, since his current one is starting to become a bit unreliable.
