Hey folks,

I've been working with the bf on finding a nice chunky cushion cut. I really like the big facets and unique look of GOG AVCs but am hoping to not have to pay the AVC premium. Mark from ERD has sent us this diamond - what do you think? I am not able to see it in person, so am worried whether it will be chunky enough, and whether the light return will be good.

It is a 2ct J SI1.

TIA!!

Forgot to add that it has 69.2% depth and 51% table. GIA cert calls the shape an "Old Mine Brilliant." Excellent polish, Good symmetry, no fluor.

It's definitely chunky and it's gorgeous if you ask me!!

Thanks!

Any other thoughts? We're holding this guy and time is running out...

What are the diameter measurements?

Any other info needed? Looking to pull the trigger on this now! Thanks!

Go for it!

I would love to see the video and the cert. but. I don't think you could do any better. Can't wait to see it set!

It says on their website that their signature settings will be back in production soon.

The Sophie, the Julia, the Gabbie, the Bella and company will be back in production soon!

If you missed out on our Signature Settings the first time around, don't despair! We're working on something really exciting - a partnership with one (or two) jewelers who will be licensed to produce and carry our Signature Settings for you.

Everything will remain the same - the exceptional quality and execution, the attention to detail and best of all, the unique touches that make JbEG Signature Settings uniquely beautiful and timeless.

Once we've dotted the necessary i's, we'll make an announcement and will post updates here. We expect all this to happen before the end of August - in time for the holidays!

I'd e-mail them to ask since August has come and gone. :))

Sadly, they've gotten back to me and they still have no production capability...so looks like I'm out of luck there =(

eeek!! what a beautiful stone!!! I'm so glad you guys jumped on it!!

Regarding the Julia - it's a GORGEOUS setting... my previous engagement ring was set in the Julia. Do you think you could find someone who could replicate it? I heard that ERD has been doing a great job with antique looking settings.

Alternatively, and this might sound crazy... I could ask my ex to sell you the setting because I know he has no idea what to do with it. My stone was a 2.09ct, ~7.7x7.7mm, so I wonder if it would accommodate your stone. It is slightly modified in that it does not curve out as much, and there are surprise garnets. No bad karma with the ring either, our relationship just didn't work out :)
