This hackjob has “stuck” so far!! The pearls - I wear them fairly often - seem to have retained the colour well, at least through casual wear and quick washes with dilute dish soap. It’s only been a few months though, let’s see what they look like in a year

@PreRaphaelite coral is so porous, I’m sure it would absorb food dye or similar! Actually I imagine it would alter appearance even more drastically?
