Hi Sharon,

The biopsies were yesterday. It didn''t hurt much. The radiologist used lanocaine to numb the areas first. They took five biopsies - four from the large solid vascular mass. It hopefully will be a benign fibroadenoma. The results should be back next week. My husband is a doctor who is on staff at the hospital I''ve been going to- it helps to have an insider who can check on things and who knows all the people involved.

You should be getting your results soon, right?

HI:

I called my surgeons office early this afternoon, hoping to get my results. The long weekend delayed the output from the labs; but I know the admn. assistant very well and she called the pathology dept. and got a report; "a pattern suggestive of fibroadenoma" is what I was told.

Needless to say I am RELIEVED! An understatement.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you for the kindness and support I received during this trying time. This community is really, quite amazing.

Linda: Keep us posted about your results. Positive vibes your way.
