Lisa- the ring is so beautiful! I was really excited to see it. Pete wanted me to remind you that the halo is the only part that has the stones set in it already. The asscher wasn''t set but he placed it in there for the photo ops. I think one of the pics that Storm posted is of just the setting.

Ah, the race! It was ok- I ended up walking it b/c I''m running a 5 miler tomorrow and wasn''t sure how my possibly-stress fractured leg would hold up for 2 races. Sammy the Sea Otter started us off (it was a Navy race- I guess he''s their mascot, or at least the credit union''s mascot).

The 3 month wait was definitely worth it!!!! I think they must have given the stone some vitamins to make it grow. I am amazed at how big it looks!!! Got to love those halos!!!
