Anything at all..

Princess or Prince, Queen or King of a foreign country for a day
Super athlete for a day in your chosen sport
Spend the day with someone who is gone
Reunite with a much beloved pet now deceased

You can do anything you desire...
But only for one day...
what would you choose?

My choice is easy for me.
I want one day back with my sweet darling girl Francesca.
I mean I want a lifetime back with her but I would take anything I can get.
I miss her so so much.
Gone too soon.
I would give almost anything to have one day back with my darling daughter

Spend it with my late partner and his dog now that both have been reunited across the rainbow bridge.

I often imagine them going out walking and playing together, and look down smiling to keep an eye on me and the pets from time to time - it comforts me.

DK :))

I would spend the day with my mom, she’s been gone now for 36 years. We would take a day trip, she never went on vacation so we would go wherever she wanted for the day.

Great thread Missy!

HI:

Even though being a jewellery appraiser for Sotheby's Fine Jewellery Auction would be fabu; I think spending the day with my Dad (gone 37 years) would it it. Gone way too young.

cheers--Sharon

24 hour orgasm.

It'd probably kill me, but what a way to go!:dance::dance:

I asked my husband this question and he quickly replied, "Spend a day on the International Space Station."
I have to concur.

Definitely spend the day with my dearly departed parents. I miss their love, support and wisdom and I would want to ask the questions I never did … ❤️

I would spend a happy day with my wife, before she was attacked by Alzheimer's. We would laugh and tell jokes and cuddle, many of the same things we do now, only she would remember us doing it.

I would spend the day with my Nanny, who was my absolute best friend, until she passed a little over 10 years ago. I miss her every single day.

I imagine the day’s schedule consisting of tea parties, conversations full of wisdom, lots of laughter, definitely a buffet of desserts, and probably some shopping at her favorite store, TJMaxx. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and wish she was here to watch my daughter grow up.

If I could do anything in a day, I would like to explore the universe and the sea. Eat the best food in the world and shop for clothes ^^

I would want to feast on freshly baked bread with freshly churned butter all day.

When I asked my husband….he said he’d probably want to make love all day.

I hope these don’t occur on the same day, I’d be too bloated :)

I've thought about this and...I don't know!

I guess this is why I don't design my own jewelry (much).

If you gave me a choice of three (or even a hundred), though, I'd have no trouble picking a favorite from the list. =)2

Reuniting with a deceased loved one (whether human or pet) has a bit of a The Monkey's Paw vibe and I must still have a little PTSD from seeing the play as a kid.

1 more day with my mum. The time would go by so fast...the parting a second time would kill me.

This, all the way through. My mom was gone way too early. It wasn't fair to her, and it wasn't fair to all the people who loved her and who should've had decades more with her. What I wouldn't give to have one more day with her, to tell her about all the things that happened that she did not live to see. I think many of us, if provided with the possibility to make the impossible possible, would spend the day with lost loved ones.

If I limit my thoughts only to what's possible, I actually start getting ideas... If you'd asked me this question a year ago, I'd say I'd want to see the northern lights. Now that I have, I think I would want to go skydiving. Or visit a tropical destination by the ocean, some islands maybe, and swim in a coral reef.

Actually, not to be a killjoy or anything but there is a medical condition where some people have orgasms all day long. It is unpleasant for them. Think about it. All day long. Every 30 seconds. It's not as good as you might think...

LOL I hear you and have never seen that movie (and have no desire to...). I miss my departed loved ones so much I would risk it...but you know that quote...be careful what you wish for :wink2:

Hugs to you and to everyone who is missing their loved ones. (((((Hugs)))))

And you just gave me another idea for a thread by the way :)

I'd do anything to be with her again, even for a moment. :(sad

Some people don't get it. But we do. They were a part of our family. A part of our hearts. The pain is still so powerful. My heart still hurts missing my sweet baby. I am sorry you too are experiencing that. I comfort myself with the quote
"with great love comes deep grief" but still. What I wouldn't give to have a day back with my sweet Francesca. :(

LOL yes
Make love first all day (working up your appetite) then eat the freshly baked bread all night :)

True. I hadn't thought of that. Yet still I am willing to go through it again because some days it feels like yesterday.
I am so sorry your mom is gone. Nobody could ever replace our mothers.
No one
:(

I'm sorry Michelle. And that sounds like such a lovely way to spend the day

Gone way too soon. I am so sorry Sharon. The randomness and unfairness of this world is overwhelming at times. I know life is not fair but one wishes it to be so. Our parents should be here with us for as long as possible.
((((((Hugs)))))))

I am so sorry Wink. Alzheimer's is a devastating disease. It robs us and our loved ones of so much.
My husband lost his dad at a relatively young age to Alzheimer's. It's a cruel disease :(

I’d like to go in to space

I asked my husband this question and he quickly replied, "Spend a day on the International Space Station."

Sounds like fun and maybe this wish can come true one day..it is not too far out of the realm of possibilities...

I would wish for this too if I were in your position. I am so sorry for your loss.
I only wish I could grant everyone's wishes to come true

Yes, agree with imagining them still with us somehow to be comforting. I mean I honestly do not believe in that but I so wish it were true. I wish there was an afterlife or somehow we are reincarnated and that no one ever dies. But in my heart of hearts I know this is all we get. This time on earth. And that life is not fair in any way. That people die way too soon and some in too much pain. I so wish life was different. I wish we all got to be with our loved ones forever and ever and at least that no one would die at a young age. :(

Thank you Missy. We have lived a full and wonderful life together. I keep hanging on to that.
