I really like the Tiffany Soleste. I tried the .75 and the 1.04 in the store and they are both too gorgeous. The problem is the price tag... its way to much. I am saving and saving and still can't save enough :cry2::cry2:. I envy you ladies who could just walk into a store and buy a diamond worth $25,000+.

I found Eternity by Yoni and he makes the Soleste ring. Do any of you ladies have it? Is it exactly like the Tiffany Soleste?
The price difference between Tiffany and Yoni is $11,000.

Can you post a pic? I'd love to see it!
TBH after seeing and hearing all of the discussions on how wonderful some designers are that can replicate almost any design, I'm sure the PSers can chime in on who can make a great Tiffany soleste replica! I'm interested to hear this as well.

RingLife, bear in mind that most of us on PS are (I am guessing) much older than you, and hence have more disposable incomes. Even then, it takes quite some time to save - hence getting a bigger ring later in life instead of during the initial engagement, lol!

I don't know much about Yoni, but there are some gifted designers who can probably design such a ring and have it come out beautifully. David Klass is popular on PS and his works are also not too expensive, based on what I heard.

If you have a limited budget for now, or intend to upgrade your diamond, I would suggest putting the money into the center stone and setting it in a simple solitaire first. A setting like this can eat into your budget very quickly, and cannot be reused if you decide to upgrade.

I haven't done business with Yoni, so I can't comment on his workmanship or service. However, I have had several pieces made by David Klass, one most recently a halo setting, and I can tell you that his uber bench is AWESOME.

Interesting. It’s TIFFANY SOLESTE that’s trademarked, not SOLESTE.

TIL.

Yoni, who is a PriceScope sponsor,
https://www.pricescope.com/featured-sponsors
was among the few whom my late father-in-law, who was "in the trade" (wholesale only) here in NYC, would recommend to friends and neighbors wanting a custom e-ring but who weren't interested in spending bigger bucks for a ring from, e.g., Leon Mege. Yoni doesn't get much "air play" here, but when I conferred with Yoni some years ago, he was doing all the bench work himself on his custom CAD-cast rings (Yoni does carry "stock" settings as well) & what I saw of his custom work and pave was definitely on par with what I saw at Engagement Rings Direct, now doing business as Brilliantly Engaged -- and typically priced a bit cheaper.

It seems that Yoni solitaires are what we've seen here more recently, e.g.,

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/another-review-on-eternity-diamonds.195239/
You'll see in the last thread above that David Wolf, an independent appraiser whom I very much like and respect, told the OP that the e-ring Yoni produced for him "was one of the best casting jobs he [David] had seen."

But here are some halo'd rings, if you've not already come across these:

https://www.pricescope.com/communit...oni-elle-w-3-stone-halo-sapphire-ring.215137/
(I imagine there are more, but these are what the site's Search function first produced for me.)

And apart from HappyNewLife's understandable displeasure over Yoni's very recent failure to respond to her inquiries about an upgrade, so far as I can recall, people were pleased to have worked with Yoni and with his handiwork.

I would save the $11,000 and get the Yoni one.

How about another option? If you want top quality, I'd go with Victor Canera. His rings are hand forged and have excellent quality pave work. He's who I'd go with for any setting similar to the Tiffany Soleste. A double halo is not unique, so there's no reason someone else can't make this setting. But it is an expensive setting, so I'd be sure I didn't plan to upgrade the stone before doing it.

You didn't say what size stone you are interested in, but I personally would get a little larger center stone and maybe just do a single halo. But even with the double halo, you should come in well under the Tiffany price and end up with a better quality diamond and ring.

Here's a top quality ideal cut round right under 1.2cts H VS2 at $8446, add maybe $5k or so for the setting (deending on single or double halo), and you end up at $13,446 or so and have a larger ring than you would have had at Tiffany for a lot less!

He can do a round or cushion halo with a round stone. If you want a cushion, he has some gorgeous antique cushions, just not many in your price range at the moment...
