I want to thank Pricescopers for all your help!!!! I lost my original diamond ring and was very very sad

after 7 years of Marriage. I felt so bad but my husband was super sweet

and said get what you want! I thought I should shop online and I discovered pricescope!!! hee hee.

I found my setting online at Solomon Brothers and I worked with Susan Dair to get my diamond set. Talk about Southern Hospitality; she is wonderful. I would definitely recommend working with Susan and Solomon Brothers!!!! They are the best; my ring is gorgeous and Susan Dair was a dream to work with

The setting is platinum with a total of .50 for the trillions

The Diamond is from Whiteflash. Carat Weight: 1.50 Color: G Clarity: VS2

Rock Candy, I did have it insured but the ring had a deductible since we thought we would never lose it! Also, I never had it reappraised. Now we learned a valuable lesson; reappraise your ring every 2-3 years and insure it for the full amount. We are very happy we at least insured it!!! Thank you

Thanks Skippy. I registered right after my husband bought me the asscher I always thought I wanted (after 10 years of marriage) and then I missed the fire of a round brilliant. So with his blessing I traded it in for the stone in my avatar and set in in a classic baguette setting. But I have to say that trilliants are right up there with my favorate looks too! They give you a lot of size for the carat weight. Enjoy your beautiful ring. I love the fire of a round brilliant.

Congrats on your lovely new ring! I lost my orignal ring 1 yr ago (after 14 yrs of marriage) and also learned the sad consequence of not reappraising

Since then, I have heard reappraise every 5 yrs. I like your suggestion of 2-3 years. Most people do not know this until it happens to them. I was so upset I lost it that I could not look at rings for 6 months.
But happy ending for me too, I just wanted to say I shared your pain. I was happy to have any insurance, even though it was not sufficient, and was able to get something to replace my lost ring.

coming from a Cushion-cut lady, I too really love the sparkly of a brilliant. In fact, I''ve already "secured a deal" with the hubby-to-be for either a 10 year year anni rign or baby gift RING!!! HEE! Can''t wait already! It''ll be round for sure!!
