yellow diamond enhancement cup -- would this one work?

hey awesome PSers, I am in the process of making a tiffany soleste inspired yellow diamond ring. and the enhancement cup will be the same as the video shown below as suggested by the jeweler. I'd like it to be half sealed for easy clean. I just wonder if this would be the best way, or is it better to cover more? is it that the more coverage there are, the better it will be enhanced?

I like it as is; it allows light in for lots of sparkle and ease of cleaning whilst covering enough to enhance the colour.

I like it too. Will give you some more yellow but still allow you to clean your stone.

It sounds like a trade-off to me. The more coverage a cup offers, it might offer more enhancement to the stone, but… more coverage also means less light (potentially less sparkle) and less access for cleaning. I'm certainly no expert, but the cup in the video looks good to me and I'd be worried about too much more than that.
