Here’s my contribution. I call it ‘I fell down the OEC rabbit hole.’ Except for the blue Akoyas-which I have worn almost every day since I got them (thanks PS Pearl Girls)!

The pink sapphire/ diamond ring is being gifted to my little sister in a few days for her birthday

The pendant usually looks pretty subtle as it’s usually showing dark grey, especially with dark turtleneck tops! As I’m currently overseas and won’t be returning anytime soon, can’t show close ups of the pendant against my skin but hopefully these pictures would help!

My year consisted of 6 things (actually, it’s really more if you count the things I bought to tear apart to make some of these items but I’m just not going there lol in my defense I also sold a bunch of items I wasn’t wearing or were pre-PS). 3 were planned/on my radar, the other 3 fell into my lap/had to have. All I can say is, my list of must haves has dramatically dwindled.

Such awesome pieces! Love that huge solitaire pendant. And welcome to the land of VCA. The 5 motif is such a classic bracelet. Hope you're enjoying her.

I also have the Vintage rose gold gray MOP necklace. I got it for my birthday last year (11/17) and I still have not worn it! I’ve been wearing my vintage carnelian alot.

This is such a fun thread, I’ve been browsing through it the past couple of days.

2021 was the year I finally got my dream Tiffany & Co solitaire ring as an upgrade on my 8th wedding anniversary. I spent years thinking about it and was thrilled to finally have it on my finger!

I also acquired a pair of 22karat gold bangles which are decorated with enamel all around the top. I absolutely love these for daily wear because they are easy to wear and colourful!

My regular sets of 22karat gold bangles are heavy and not practical at all for daily wear (I only ever wear them on an occasion) but these are perfect and light and not too showy.

Congratulations on your upgrade. What girl does not like that classic blue box. Your bangles are beautiful and unique. Hope you get lots of wear out of them.

Working from home, i fell in love with the ease of wearing dbty necklaces for everyday (and I finally achieved my goal of buying pearls from @yssie )



...and my adjustable pearl lariat necklace which is back at home

Love this pic. All the colors of the rainbow, almost. And of course those pearls. Yssie's pearls are always such eye candy. I wanna pick one off and just gobble it. The dbty are great staples for any jewelry wardrobe.

This year I didn't buy any jewelry for myself but I received a lot of wonderful and meaningful gifts from people that I love!
The first gift of the year was a ruby and diamond ring! It was a gift from my father, which was given to me during the difficult time that I was fighting breast cancer and it has a great significance to me.
A few weeks later, dad also gave me a wonderful ruby and diamond bracelet, which was a totally unexpected piece!!!

and the project closest to my heart…I worked with Inken to reimagine my wedding set. I slimmed down my original wedding band and got a whole new floral inspired solitaire to let my OEC shine

2021 was the year I bought myself diamonds (and a bucket list item along the way). In January a semi custom DBTY (9 x 0.06 in platinum) arrived from WF (gotta have a trial purchase first, right? ) followed by a 6 stone ring also from WF in May (big birthday bucket list item). I'm thinking of adding the WF harmony in yellow gold or a VCA small perlee ring and that will be my left hand done.

WF classic forever pieces can't be beat. Congratulations on a big birthday and these perfect WF staples. Hope you wear the heck out of them.

In the early part of 2021, I focused on having Victor Canera finally reset my diamond from a solitaire to his gorgeous antique cushion halo. I am so glad I waited to find the perfect setting!


Next, I saw a perfect pair of 1.6 ct (each) H VS1-2 WF ACAs and did my FINAL studs upgrade!




After getting my diamond pieces straightened out, I got a VCA Magic onyx long pendant in May (to match the bracelet I got last Christmas), and a few months later I lucked into finding a solid wg vintage Alhambra bracelet (at the boutique) that was a special order but the original customer changed their mind.





I actually have not gotten any jewelry for Christmas and anniversary yet. VCA was (and is) sold out of everything I had on my wishlist, and I have been wearing so little jewelry over the last year or so that I felt uncertain about what I really want. So I may get a belated gift in the next few weeks if I can decide!

Ohmygoodness DS. I did not realize what a fruitful year you had until you put it all together here. Congratulations!! Such wise decisions, all of them. Yet, I still think of this year (10:25 on the west coast) as the year Victor said yes. Your ACA finally moved to the forever home it deserves. Your upgraded ACA studs, your black and white VCA collection. So perfect...sigh...

This is so fun!

This was the year of diamonds for me!

First, I set my .56 GIA D OEC from DBL into a 14k white gold setting from Ivy and Rose.

Second, I got my 1.07 J heart diamond in a 14k rose gold Stuller pendant from Jon at Distinctive Gem.

Third, I bought a pre-loved Oscar Heyman French cut Ruby and diamond band in 18k yellow gold.

Fourth, I got my 3 stone OEC AVR unmentionables set in 14k rose gold from Daniel M.

Fifth, I got a large 5+ carat amethyst from Andrew’s Enchanted Gems. I haven’t set it yet.

Sixth, I got my very special Wolf CBI 5 diamond ring in a custom 18k yellow gold U prong ring to celebrate my huge career accomplishment.

Seventh, I got my 24k solid gold hoop huggie earrings.

Eighth, I got my 7” PP AAA Akoya bracelet in 14k white gold.

Ninth, I got my Gem quality Akoya studs in 18k yellow from Andrew Moline.



Oh boy! That does it for me. 2021 reeeeeaaaally hit my wallet hehe

Blingtastic @Sprinkles&Stones !! It has been a big year for you. Everything is gorgeous, and I love your Moline studs especially. They are extra gorgeous! And of course your CBIs. They are now part of PS history.

I have nowhere near the collection of other PSers, but 2021 was still a damn good year for me!

I upgraded to my HFG.

Then I set it in a solitaire.

Then I wanted more finger coverage, so I re-set it in a halo.

And I got my first RHR, a gorgeous Cartier orchid ring.

You're right @Kim N , damn good. That HFG of yours demands attention and your Cartier orchid is a scene stealer though. Congratulations! We still need the story of how you tracked this girl down tho... Can't wait for story time!

I feel like this story is a lesson in patience You waited, what, eight years for your reset? And every one of those years paid off, you couldn’t have chosen a more perfect style for you - or the more perfect jewellery to craft it for you!!

And then that WG bracelet - talk about good luck! If you’d ordered it earlier it probably would have taken just as long and you’d have just had that money all tied up for… Exactly the same timeline!?
