gorgeous yes--worth it--no (to me). if my budget was say 68000 (that stone plus a mounting...hypothetically) I''d rather do a major custom piece with a 3.5 carat.................

For 60k, I''d not get anything that''s Symmetry of Good and Polish VG:razz:

Naw. If I were to break into the 5 digit range, I''d want better specs. Even if you can''t see it, people are gonna ask so I''d want the color in the colorless range and the polish and symmetry to at least be VG as well.

PS Vendors are offering similar stones for about $3K less. That''s about 0.05% difference. If this is an idependent B&M, their pricing isn''t too bad at all.

I use MSN as my homepage and saw that ad too. I think it''s from diamond.com. If I happened to win $60,000 in the lottery or something, I think I''d rather put it towards a house or maybe treat myself to a luxury car...

Assuming that was "jewelry budget" anyway (not likely asap) ... a single rbc would be the last thing on the list anyway.

There''s so many of them!

I think a $60,000 stone might be worth a non sample image.

What would actually put me off at first glance from this stone is the ''''good'''' symmetry rating. I would expect something more if I had to buy such an expensive stone.
