It’s a nice classically proportioned MRB. Should have well balanced light return including fire.
 
The cut is beautiful, but the material has somewhat of a brownish-greyish tinge.
 
Are you tied to James Allen? I've found some cheaper alternatives at other vendors.

definitely not tied to JA! the setting i like the most is there (but its just a micropave so im sure i can find one just like it elsewhere), i saw their "sale" (which i now see isnt very meaningful lol), like the return policy, and i was admittedly a bit swayed by brand recognition. with that said, i am totally open to other options!

the most important thing to me is that i find a stone with mind blowing light performance! ;)2
 
What carat range, color grades, clarity grades, and budget cap are you targeting, mccsbobo?

Definitely reach out to Rhino (Jon) at Distinctive Gem...he has access to pretty much everything in the virtual supply chain and will personally vet and fully assess any diamonds that he brings in.

I don't love the material on this one. It has a greyish tint and some graining.
 
Also, do you happen to see anything amazing on Adiamor or JA?
