Would a princess look good in this setting?

I asked this question over the weekend and got some great answers I would like some more input now that there is more traffic on the site. The setting below is what my FF picked out at Jared’s. We are getting the stone elsewhere but I fell in love with this setting (photo doesn’t do it justice) AND because he picked it out I feel it’s the one for me Would a princess look good in this setting with round stones or should we stick with a RB?

My favorite way to assess how a particular shape would look in a particular setting is to play around with the engagement ring designs on Blue Nile. This setting looks pretty similar. Put a princess in it online and see what you think!

I agree I think this setting would be perfect. The first one was not bad either though.
