Would a non-elongated cushion fit in 4-prong Stuller Solstice setting?

I have a Stuller Solstice 6-prong ring, with a round stone in it. Now I want an August Vintage Cushion in a similar setting with 4-prongs...I also want an AVC in Solstice pendant. The size I am thinking about is around 7.5mm x 7.5mm.

Is this doable? Or is the Stuller Solstice series meant for round stones only? Thank you!

Sure it could, as long as the dimensions are similar.

If the stone is completely square you may need larger prongs than for a round stone in order for the stone not to spin/get loose. It is best to ask your jeweller how it will look and if you will be happy with it. I would personally recommend split claw prongs for a square cushion in a four prong setting, that way the prongs can be made smaller/less bulky. :wavey:

Yes, but you'd need the jeweler to measure corner to corner before they order the setting. The diameter measurements are not useful for setting a cushion at the corners. Lucky you to get two AVCs!
