I had my OEC in a solitare and I did not like it. So I have it set now in a cushion halo with a very slight split shank. For me, it fits the personality of my OEC better than a solitare and it looks much better on my hand. When I was looking at SS settings, Ari had quite a few of them in unplated white gold with warmer stones set in them. Then he showed me his YG stackers worn with the unplated white gold rings with warmer diamonds. And they REALLY looked great together! I hope this helps [/quote

Aw!!! Thanks for thinking of me, arkieb! I did see that and I contacted Grace about it because it would be pretty perfect for me...but, it would be so difficult not to go through Adam because I would have to sell my current stone by myself...which I'm sure I would lose money on and that would make it more painful to spend more to get that 4 carat. Plus, I don't even know how long it would take to sell it etc. So, given the upgrade price AND the selling PL I dont think I can do it. But, trust me, I thought about it. I really need Adam to come up with something!

Hi Val,

If you are genuinely interested, send Grace pics of your current stone and ring and see if she can work out a deal with you. JBEG take all sorts of things, your existing ring is a lovely ring I am sure they could either sell it on consignment for you or they might be interested in doing some sort of partial payment/swap for it.
