who sets a diamond?

I am thinking about using a local store to buy a Ritani setting for my pear. Who would set my diamond? would they send it to ritani, would the jeweler set it? how does it work exactly?

I am not sure about Ritani and that is probably why you don't have any replies. With Tacori and Vatche, the ring is custom made for your stone and finger size and the stone is sent to the designer to set. That would be my preference with Ritani but I am not certain how they do it.

I was assuming that was the case sense it's a bezel but I dot know

We generally set the center stone in our store. Alot of clients don't want their stone sent out. However if it is a bezel setting like an endless love, we would have Ritani set it.
