Who (not GGs) has taken the GIA Diamond Grading course?

I think I''m going to take it in March or April... maybe the Gem ID course as well. If you''re not a GG, I was wondering what your experience was like. I''m interested in the L.A. campus in particular, but all experiences would be appreciated.

I''m certainly not dissing GG''s experience - at this time I just don''t have plans to go in that direction.

My wife did it about 15 years ago. She has no other gem training (other than being a jewellry, watch and gift buyer for a chain of stores.).
She found it very easy. But she had already bought several million dollars worth of diamonds.

Thanks for responding, Garry... I''m looking forward to it. The class, that is. Although I''m not banking on several million dollars worth of diamonds passing through my hands, that does sound completely delicious!
