Here is the picture for the above one too!

I like the spread on the first one better, hope the experts can chime in with other opinions.

To my untrained eye... Spread wins, IS is bright, sharp arrows, triple x GIA

:)

I agree. The first one has a better IS compared to the second one, and it looks beautiful! Plus IDJ can get you a great price on it. Not to mention it's bigger ::)

I'm also leaning towards the first one! But do you think i should be concerned with the feather around the diamond? i.e durability after it has been set?

You don't need to worry about the feather, but these two diamonds aren't in the same class, although both look nice. The BG one is top, top cut quality, and I'd personally rather have it for a ring.

I agree with Jan. My vote goes to the stone from BGD

2 votes with IDJ

2 votes for BG

As always - very grateful with your feedback!!!

Depends on how super well cut you want your diamond to be and if it is a mind clean thing or if you feel you can see the difference.

Hi Chrono! Always lovely hearing from you!

In my untrained eyes,i feel they look very similar with each other. The IDJ one is bigger in size and both diamonds are excellent cut according to their certifications and pictures.

Also they both seem to have very good light return, fire, scintillation and spread..

From my basic understanding the GIA Color grading is a little a bit more strict than AGS... from what i read in the previous post in the forum, not sure how correct this is.

I'm leaning towards the IDJ one unless BG provides a competitive offer.

Which one would you choose??

Get the bigger one. I doubt you would be able to perceive any cut differences.

I agree completely. I think if you are the type of person who has the have the nicest of whatever you buy, then the BGD is probably for you, only because I know that you wouldn't be satisfied if you didn't get the signature line diamond. For me, I would get the bigger one as well. I'm with Julie, you most likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference in cut. I know I wouldn't. But in the end, they are both killer diamonds, go with whoever gives you the best deal.

I'd go for the BGD :naughty:

I agree with Chrono. I'm not a RB person at all but would personally go with the BGD. If the feather bothers you and you could see it, you might always look for it. Have you seen these two diamonds in person? That might help you make a decision. If you can't tell the difference with your own eyes, go bigger.

Thanks guys!

Hopefully ill make my decision by the end of the week!

The next step is settings >.<!!!

should i be bothered with theblack dots?

Hmm, wonder if it has a black inclusion that is reflecting in the stone? Unusual to see that face up in a VS2.

I'd still stick with the first one the 1.36 from IDJ...

The second one is also from IDJ and its E/VS2

Yekutiel said that they are both eye clean... but it hink the black spots would annoy me more

So I have now decided to go with IDJ Yekutiel - 1.36 F/ VS2 GIA XXX! Cannot wait to also finalise the setting :).

Thanks for helping everyone! Much appreciated!!
