I hope Nan doesn''t kill me for this but Angello took his very first steps today!!!!!

He is so proud of himself and I thought I would share it with you guys!!!! She will post more about it in a while. He is making such progress and I''m so happy for him, I couldn''t contain myself!!!!

Awwwwww! Congratulations Angello! Pretty soon you won''t be able to catch him Nan, he''ll be running all over the house! So exciting!!

OHMYGOSH, NAN!!!! We just got home last night from a week at Bethany Beach!!!! We went to Rehoboth twice... and ate at Big Fish Grill one night. Do you go every August???! Because we do. Maybe we could meet up next year!!! Wouldn''t THAT be a blast!!!!!

All this talk of Rehoboth, Bethany...I may have to make an earlier trip than first planned. I miss it so much

My favorite ride at the boardwalk was the Sea Witch (I think?)..its the big boat that swings and turns in a complete circle...I was a little older with that one. When I was only slightly older than Angello my favorite was the boats that had the mermaid sitting in the middle of them..I loved ringing that bell, lol. Oh, and the tea cups. Do they still have the tea cups that spin?

More of my favorites are Lewes, Indian River, and I think there are two state parks that we used to go to when Rehoboth was too crowded to go to..but Rehoboth wasn''t nearly as crowded as it is today..even when it was at its worst. I can''t remember what the two state parks are but one of them had two look out towers in the parking lot. (I think there were only two of them). I practically grew up at Rehoboth Beach. Even spent a few winters there. That''s the only time in my life I''ve ever seen Rehoboth empty

I''m sure Angello is going to have very fond memories of the boardwalk as he gets older.

AH! YES! I LOVED those boats! The poor Mermaid...she''s seen better days I''m sure, lol. Oh, I loved those boats, lol. So many memories....

Oh, and look at him. So cute! I was his age when I first rode them. I hope he''s as excited about them when he''s 27...or it could be that I''m just weird, lol.

Wow!! What an amazing story... I had no idea until I browsed this thread.

You have my utmost respect as a mother, and your family is gorgeous! The surgery will go wonderfully on Tuesday, no doubt.. doctors are so trained in what they do.. and the fact the the 2 biggest surgeries have already occured years ago, when they were more risky.. is over. This is more of a standard surgery I''m guessing and he will be fine!

You have my prayers, and thanks so much for sharing your family with us!
