Thanks everyone!

We had a huge party for him on Sunday.
Yesterday we had a smaller party and my daughter made his cake.

Thanks Libster; he is going for a procedure tomorrow. I''m trying to be strong for my little man.
Hopefully all will go smoothly tomorrow.

I haven''t gotten a time yet. They usually call the night before. I''m sure it will be early in the morning.

Nan just called at 2:10 pm. They just took Angello back for the cath. They were running very late. The doctor said he now wants to keep Angello overnite and Nan wasn''t planning for that. There is a possibility that they may have to do a shunt while they''re in there, or possibly a balloon. She will call me when she gets the next update and I will post any news here. Send all your positive vibes to both of them, say some prayers too. She says thank you to all of you for being so caring and so kind.

It sounds like the doctor had some new ideas before the procedure, right? That does not mean that anything has gone wrong, he just has changed the possibilities?

I hope it all goes really well and smoothly. I''m thinking of little Angelo and of Nan and praying for them and their family.

4:45, Update. They are coiling off some extra veins that thses kids seem to have so that when they go to do the surgery in August they won''t become bleeders and pose any problems. His pulmonary arteries look great, so no shunts or ballons were necessary. That''s about it for now. I''ll post any updates as I get them. She says Hi to everyone and is thankful for all your support.

Update 5:45, Angello is in recovery, they are done with the procedure, all went well!!! They know what they are dealing with for his surgery next month and have a good idea what else needs to be done. The doctor said that he is an excellent candidate for his next surgery and they have a good map to go by. He will be in recovery for another hour and then will go upstairs to his room. It''s good news!!!!
