I haven''t read the whole thread, just noticed on this last page that you were at Rehobeth Beach. I was just there in July. (I''m from Baltimore, have been going there since I was a kid). Cute kids, I''m sure they had a blast.

It is never quiet, and there''s never a dull moment, that''s for sure. How do you do it??? Sheer will and grace of God, I''m sure. I''m so glad that your youngest had a successful surgery, and he''s doing well. He looks like a normal, happy 2 year old

7/1....i have seen all ur threads and contribution to the PS forum and family, but only just read this thread today...i have to add to what everyone else has already made clear: ur family makes me hope that my family will turn out like that one day..u make it seem like having 7 kids is an easy job, and the love and happiness you see in their faces only confirms what a loving mother u are. They are amazing children and are gorgeous!!! angelo is just adorable and he is such a fighter! may he grow up to have an amazing life (and everyone else too)....

Angello''s surgery has been rescheduled for Wednesday. There are other babies that have to have surgery in their first week of life and so they need to go before Angello. Nan will fill you in with more details.

Yes surgery is now set for Wed. (I hope it stays that way)
We did all the pre-op stuff today at the Hospital today.
Things seem to be even more organized from a year ago.
There are some nice changes going on at the hospital.
 
Nan -- he looks so great! I''m pulling for little Angelo and you and your family on Wednesday. I''m sure all will go well. It''s great to hear that the hospital is getting more together. These things are tough enough on you and your family -- the more they can streamline the process, the easier for everyone. My thoughts will be with you all on Wed.
 
Nan, I hope all goes well. It is so tough to be delayed when you are focused. Years ago my oldest, than 9 weeks, needed hernia surgery. Had to not feed him, for ouver twelve hours (4-6 feedings) and then be at the hospital. They did outpatient stuff in the basement surgery area. We had had flooding rains the prior night and there was flooding. I was there with a couple of other parents of very small kids. Our surgeon, a wonderful guy, got us taken up to the 8th floor so we could get it done, and not have to go through the stress of coming back again. I admire your strength and fortitude, I hate to say this but you have become a pro at this. I hope Angelo''s surgery goes perfectly and I hope that he never really needs more, I do not know his situation but hope this it for him. You have a lovely family and great friends, I just wish this was taken off your plate. But, Angelo is a beautiful gift and a joy, and he will be fine! PS I have been to Bethany, near Rehoboth. I live right near your buddy Lisa and the Delaware shore is close by! GOOOD LUCK AND STAY STRONG. I will think of all of you on Wednesday...

Nan, you have such great strength for everything you have been through. I know that tomorrow will go well because he''s such a strong little man and with the hospital stepping up to the plate it will make it easier. You''ll be in our thoughts and will keep watch for the good news. Stay strong and give Angelo a hug for us all.

It breaks my heart when I see those pictures, but the good thing is this is the last surgery. I am so happy everything went well. You are such a strong woman to be able to go through this. I admire you greatly.
 
I just got home from visiting Nan and Angello. We had a great visit and Angello looks great. I think that the PICU is doing a wonderful job and it will be a slow road but hopefully a steady one. I gave him kisses for everyone here and brought all your well wishes to Nan.

Lynn she knows and is soooo thankful for all the support she has gotten here. Pricescope is really such a special place, kind of like an extended family.

Nan you know the little guy is fighting every step of the way and wants to get the hell out of there. I love seeing how he wakes up just enough to point to the door, like get me out of here. He has spunk and is strong and I love his spirit.
