Sucks to be in the sleepless club, doesn''t it? I am so envious that my hubby hits the pillow and is out like a light.

My kids are talented, they have talent in their gene pool (not from me!)

I am sure lots of their talent is from you!

Yes it does suck! When you fall asleep do you stay asleep? I don''t, I always wake up at 3 and can''t sleep for a coupld of hours, it drives me nuts! Hubby is out like a light too!

I am very excited because my city has a Sephora and it opens tomorrow! I am going to have to check it out in your honor! hehe

Ha ha, I LOVE THAT Caroline!!! I am going Monday, those Sephora ladies rock! They hooked me up with a couple of sample perfumes I like so come Monday I will go buy some perfumes. I love the Fresh line; it is so fresh! hehe I am so excited to go back and buy some stuff, my sister is excited too but it was a mad house so we need to go when no one is there! hehe

Luv, my oldest is going to be 16 in November and my middle son was 13 in July. My youngest will be 7 in November so we had quite a large spread. That is the only way I could have managed the 3rd, I needed a bit of breathing room!!!

My two are 3 years apart, and they are like a little team. I am afraid with such a spread #3 would be lonely (no WAY I could do 4)
Did you find this with your youngest, or am I just over thinking this as usual?

ILC, it is a very mixed bag. He is one who was very verbal and tall and so people expected more of him, even when he was young. And now he thinks he can keep up with two much older brothers. This next summer, 2009, we might send him to sleep away with his brothers. This summer he missed them, and got quite spoiled and used to ruling the roost. My nanny, my sitter, me and my husband were really trying not to overindulge him but he really got a bit used to it. When my older two returned from camp after 8 weeks, he was thrilled to see them but quickly realized he was not top dog anymore. It was not easy for him to adjust and he told us he was a bit jealous and had to get used to them taking our attention! It was cute but I felt badly to as he really was feeling out of joint for a couple of weeks. Plus my kids just went back to school the 8th so it was a LONG three weeks where he was asserting himself A LOT.

I could not do 4 either, plus I will be 43 so no way. I feel I would have loved a girl but I am so blessed, my sons are gorgeous and wonderful so I really feel pleased.

Thanks for your advice. I am at a crossroads in my life. My "baby" just started first grade last week. I don''t know what I want. I really appreciate your input though. You are a doll!

ILC, my youngest is now in first. I do not regret at all having a third. But I would never have been able to have four, and truly it was not a great pregnancy. I did not feel great and it was a long nine months, but it turned out okay. I lived through it, but I am not one who adores being pregnant and so it was much tougher in my 30''s than my 20''s. But he is a joy and we are thrilled about it, because I realize now I would have no kids at home in 6 years, but with him home we have more time with a child around. It is a tough decision but not one I have ever regretted.

Thanks Dfan. That is good food for thought. I am so betwixt and between in my life right now.
I did not enjoy pregnancy AT ALL, ut like you said, I made it through. I am little, and have very little room for a baby to grow. The womb equivalent of a NYC studio apt. with the bathtub in the kitchen...
And I am a serious bitch when pregnant. (I don''t even want to be around myself) All things to think about. And I''m not that young anymore, so now or never.
But I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me. Thanks!

Jman, thanks! I have had the bling addiction from WAY back. My mom called me a crow, if it was shining or sparkling, I would get it.

I have only sons so hope they marry nice girls so I can divvy my treasures.

my father and I were the peacocks in our family...the ladies could do without the bling...but the men always liked the shine...the bigger the better!...I would be more then happy to take the odds and ends that your sons dont want.
