Who are the top democratic presidential candidates for 2020?

Delaney would be that candidate, but he will not be nominated by the D party.

Well, he has two benefits.

a) he is smart
b) he did not enter big politics poor. It is a huge plus. He probably is the Dem version of Mitch Romney.

Electing the scion of a rich family makes sense, rich people are often more independent in their thinking (in XX century they also were aristocratic - remember two Roosevelts).

Deval Patrick when asked if he believes in a wealth tax "I don't think wealth is the problem, I think greed is the problem."

Anybody know anything about him other than what's available via google?

FACT CHECK: Obama does not give any opinion about Warren in this article.

Does it take a genius to figure out whom Obama was referring to?

Left winger PSers should show up for the Democratic brokered convention in Milwaukee. You have a good chance of being nominated as any other Dems. :read:

Unless he drops out for some reason, I'll be voting #Yang2020 in the primaries. Because I love me some left leaning, mathematically literate, centrist.

Climate is my main concern for this election. I’ve read over and over again that taking a moderate approach to climate change will lead to the demise of the human race as we know it. Elizabeth Warren’s plan is thorough. She has my vote. All of these other issues don’t even matter if we don’t save the planet.

I’m voting for Andrew Yang 2020 also, for same reasons. A balanced, data driven humanitarian on a mission.

The candidate with the best chance of beating trump has my vote, even though it might not be my candidate of choice because that should be the main goal of this upcoming election -- getting rid of the incompetent maniac who is single handedly destroying this country and through that, putting the rest of the planet in jeopardy. We do not need a repeat of the last election where people voted their consciences over the good of the country because look where that got us.

The Dems should just keep on defending Soleimani and I'm sure Americans will love you for it.

Here's me talking to E. Warren...

She talked about not saddling future generations with debt, but by forgiving personal student debt, it adds to the government's tab, which is still debt. You're just shifting debt from one pocket to another, as future generations still need to pay debt in the form of taxes.

What causes is Trump shifting debt for? I’m sure they are more humanitarian than loan forgiveness.

Criticizing Warren does not equal an endorsement for Trump. I think Trump has underdelivered on his many promises, and I'm trying to decide between Warren and Yang in the democratic primaries.

Most probably before November but it's possible they won't even use it.

Not sure about the Russians yet, has Trump asked them to interfere again?

Will the Dems. have result before or after Nov. ??:lol:

Yes, Trump told the Russians he would like to take on Sanders but of course the D party will not allow for that to happen ...;))

That's so 2016. I'm sure Trump told the Russians to smear Bernie, and as we both know the democratic party cannot stop the Russians, I believe it will all play out soon enough

The latest I've read is Buttigieg won by delegate count, but Sanders by popular vote.
But it was close to a tie.
Yet, there are still "irregularities", so perhaps we don't know fer sure.

The big looser was the stoopid friging ap that messed up the counting.
I read other states won't be using the ap.
Once again, we see the false promise of technology. :nono:

Well, things have changed over the last 2 months. Yang is lagging and looking like a non-starter. And watching the impeachment trial has made me think - we need the biggest balls possible in the White House. Temper that with my tendency to prefer a centrist, and for me the answer is obviously Klobuchar. Definitely the biggest balls on the stage. Failing that, I'll vote Bloomberg - just because he really doesn't NEED to be president and because I thought he did a great job in NYC.

The democrats will not take the swing voters with a revolutionary. As far as I'm concerned, that rules out Sanders, who, as far as I can tell, never gets a damn thing done in congress, and Warren. Yang and Steyer won't get enough votes. I used to like Biden, but I REALLY want someone younger. I'd vote Bloomberg as a backup to Klobuchar, but it's not my preference. I really don't want another president in their 70's.

Hi,

I really like Amy Klobuchar. To me she is Presidential. I will have a hard time voting for a socialist. This country did get its greatness from Modified Capitalism. We have just gone thru an extreme right viewpoint. I don't want to see an extreme left viewpoint.

Bloomberg is looking better to me too.
